My name is Sean O’Brien and I am the maintenance supervisor for the Northfield Hills Condominium Association located in Troy, Michigan. Northfield Hills is the second largest condominium association in the State of Michigan with 646 units. I am responsible for all routine maintenance along with the major repair and/or replacement projects for all the condominium units, the Clubhouse, and the maintenance garage.
In 2005, our Association developed specifications for their upcoming painting project for all the siding and trim on all our buildings. The scope of the project included but is not limited to: power washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, minor repairs, and the painting of the new paint scheme which has four colors. The bid was for the entire five year project and exceeds two million dollars ($2,000,000). I received seven bids for this project. Once the bids were received I started an extensive reference check and when that was completed I personally interviewed each potential contractor. Once the references and interviews were complete the Board of Directors, based on my recommendation, voted unanimously to award the contract to Quality Home Improvements. My recommendation was based on the overwhelming positive references that I received, my inspection of some of the projects Quality Home Improvements had painted, and their past experience with large projects. The Board of Directors, the co-owners, and I could not be happier with our selection. Mr. Fawaz’s professionalism, quality of work, timely completion of the work, care for the co-owners’ personal property, and overall neatness has not only met but exceeded our expectations. In the two years of this project I have received many calls from our co-owners on how polite and caring his crews are, they go above and beyond to make sure we are happy.
I have no qualms in highly recommending Quality Home Improvements for any work that you have available. I am using them on other current projects within our Community and plan to use them in the future.

Copper Creek Condominium Association

The Copper Creek Condominium Association is composed of 27 buildings, two units per building, for a total of 54 individual units. The units are 1950 to 2200 square feet each with a market value of approximately $300,000 each. The buildings are approximately ten years old.
The association evaluated bids from four companies in June 2007 which provided for repair of wood decay and the painting of the wood on all buildings. After careful evaluation and confirmation of the recommendations from the contractors’ previous customers we selected Quality Home Improvements. The price quoted by Quality Home Improvements was not the lowest, but we were looking for a quality company that could give us premium service that would make our buildings look like the day they were built. Quality Home Improvements completed their job two weeks ahead of schedule despite five straight days of rain. Upon completion, our buildings look better than the day they were new!
As the work began of replacing rotten wood in our bay windows and building trim, Quality Home Improvements showed us where we had interior rot and black mold resulting from water leaking between the walls from the poor unsealed window joints. Quality identified the problem and provided a solution to prevent any re-occurrence. Quality Home Improvements’ paint teams were exceptionally conscientious and took exceptional care to provide an excellent paint job. They used Sherwin Williams Duration premium paint. After the painting was complete they went back and checked each building to ensure that nothing was missed. They also addressed all owner questions and requests.
I have to add that my personal contact with the owner of Quality Home Improvements, Joseph A. Fawaz, was most cordial. He was most professional and easy to work with.
We are so satisfied with Quality Home Improvements that we are now using their services to provide any interior and exterior repairs that the Condominium Association may need. Without hesitation I would recommend Quality Home Improvement for any work that you need.
